What Were They Thinking Back Then?

If you ever have looked through some old photo albums or books (or searched through a stock photo site) , you have certainly seen some things that make you wonder what the heck people were thinking back then.  Well, they had a lot of free time on their hands, for one. There was no TV, no Internet, no video games. And clearly, there were also different attitudes towards safety.

I can only assume that the guy on top was severely mangled when this thing turned over. But with all this being said, you still have to wonder if they would think the same about us.
